Vacuflow® Vacuum Sewage SystemIntroductionProject Name: Institut Latihan Perindustrian (Polytechnic School) Location: Miri, Sarawak, East Malaysia. Owner: Jabatan Tenaga Manusia Kementerian Sumber Manusia Malaysia. Population : 1,000 students Specification Due to high water table, very flat land area, pit soil and subject to tidal condition, the Qua-Vac Vacuflow system was chosen to be more cost effective. Vacuflow Interface Valve : 42 nos Longest Vacuum Piping : 900 meters One vacuum station was constructed and consists of two (2) units of 78m3/hr Busch rotary lobe vacuum pumps (contact free & dry operation), two discharge pumps, one (1) liquid separator and a vacuum vessel. Completion The first phase was completed in December of 2005 and due to the Qua-Vac Vacufolw System, we were able to help the Main Contractor complete phase one (1), 90 days ahead of schedule. Phase two (2) completed in June of 2006. |
