Vacuflow® Vacuum Sewage SystemIntroductionProject Name: Police Contingent Camp Location: Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Owner: Ministry Of Home Affairs User: Royal Malaysian Police Population: 6,000 Specification Due to high water table, very flat land area and bad soil condition, the Qua-Vac Vacuflow system was chosen to be the more cost effective. The vacuum system serves a population of 1,500 staff and families, with the balance serve by gravity located near STP. There are a total of 80 Vacuflow Interface Valves, 3 x 250m³/hr Busch Rotary Dry Lobe Vacuum Pumps and 2 Discharge Pumps. All vacuum mains are of HDPE PN10 with a total length of 5.8km and the longest main of 1.2km. Completion The Qua-Vac Vacuflow Sewerage System was Tested and Commission in December of 2007. |
